A & A Henins is a Minority Woman Owned Business. At A & A Henins, we take pride in our work. We are dedicated to working with our clients to ensure that the demolition phase is done safely, and professionally. We strive to keep the jobsite clean and functional during the demolition process, and control the impact of the demolition, on the day to day operations. We are not there simply to earn a paycheck, we are there to help in any way we can.
While most of our work is in Los Angeles and Orange County, we have had projects in Kern, Ventura, San Bernardino and Riverside.
Who We Are
A & A Henins is owned and operated by Ana and Andrew Henins. They started the business soon after their younger son Ivars was diagnosed with Autism April of 2006. The business allows them to attend Ivars therapies and enable them to provide Ivars with the most up to date treatment. Andrew’s dream is to build a state of the art home for Ivars and his friends where they are treated with love and dignity. Ana’s hope is to turn A & A Henins into a compmany that can support the home for Ivars and his friends for years to come.
Our Team
Vice President Ivars Henins is a retired Nuclear Physicist from the Los Alamos National Lab. He consults on Project Planning and effective use of tools on specific Projects.
Sr. Vice-President Andy Henins is a United States Air Force Veteran. He used his GI Bill to obtain his BS in Management from California State Long Beach in 1998. Andy started in the demolition industry with GD Heil in 1998. He marketed, estimated, proposed and project managed two high-rises downtown Los Angeles. The ‘complete strip-out’ of 1100 Wilshire, and the ‘surgical gutting’ at 801 S. Grand. He started working for himself in 2006 and opened A & A Henins, Inc. in January 2007.
Ana Henins was the Accounting Manager for Law Engineering and Environmental Services. Business Manager for Mactec Los Angeles, Irvine, and Palm Springs. She helped build fee structures, reduce expenses and increased profit margins. She dealt with external pre and post financial audits by various municipal, state, and federal entities by her offices. At Project Controls, she helped PMs build complex multimillion dollar project budgets and schedules. As President of A & A Henins, she helped grew the company 205% within 5 years.
